You always have such wonderful interviews with extremely interesting people on your podcasts. I am really not a weaver yet (I'm one of those accursed KNITTERS who is saving weaving for retirement!), but I appreciate creative people and your podcast is always very thought provoking. I wait with baited breath for it's appearance each month. The "zine" looks very good as well Keep up the fantastic job!

I loved this episode!! Not only because one of my goals is to weave cloth for garments in the future, but especially because of the great comments about the female figure and how we should feel about it. Thank you!

A lot of what Daryl said about fit would apply to knitted garments as well, and I imagine that you could use a dress form to knit-to-fit some rather tailored garments. Glad you're enjoying both the 'cast and the 'zine!

Wasn't Daryl great? I love the points she makes about body image.

What an inspiring interview! I had to take a trip in the car this morning and I listened to you and Daryl all the way there, and then listened to you again all the way back. Not sure whether I am ready to see myself in foam yet, but I'm up for weaving some yardage!

I've enjoyed all of the WeaveCast episodes, but this was the best one! Weaving and sewing garments is exactly what I do and want to do more of and it was so fun to listen to what Daryl said cause she thinks a lot like me about weaving and sewing. Thanks so much for what you're doing Syne!

I have to say that this is the best episode yet. Not only were her comments on fit spot on and informative, but her thoughts on body image and the power of fitting clothes to the body were just terrific. We could all learn a lesson on changing the things that can be altered rather than those that can not. Bravo Daryl & Syne!!

Daryl taught a workshop for our little guild for a whole weekend about eight years ago. My fellow guilde members come in with these top of the line sewing machines and I trail along with my econ type Singer. I don't like to sew, never have and never will but I love weaving and had a great time. Daryl has an amazingly wonderful attitude for life and shares it with those around her and she put up with the likes of me, a non-sewer, for a whole weekend. Bless her heart!
Great episode!!!
