Ever wonder how your donation dollars are spent? What Syne would do if the tables were turned and she was interviewed? How to get kids hooked on weaving? Why am I wearing a medival gown in public?

Thank you ever so much for yet another GREAT, inspiring and talented episode of weavecast! When I started listening to Weavecast, several months ago, I was a knitter learning to spin with goals to One Day own a loom. Now I weave two nights a week, recently started a spinning guild here in Stockholm, Sweden and of course - I still knit.
Again, thank you for a great program to listen to while walking my two-and-a-half year old son, weaving colorful rag carpets, spinning or working by the loom - Thank you!

I haven't been able to get an entire episode downloaded until this one. I've been gun shy about trying to listen as it's so disappointing to be in the middle of an interview and then - nothing. I know I can listen from the computer but I'm listening to podcasts while I drive, and drive, and drive. I wonder if it's your new equipment that is allowing the full download. Anyway, the Halloween issue also is a full download. Now I'm pumped~

Thank you so much for the great comment! I'm so glad that you're enjoying weaving, and it's fun to think of you listening while walking your son, weaving and spinning.

My husband's father is from Sweden (their name is Nylund) and Sweden has such a rich weaving tradition, I'm honored that you enjoy the show!

Sharon,

I'm so sorry that you've been having trouble downloading the shows! Are you right-clicking and choosing "Save Target As"? I ask because sometimes just clicking on the link causes it to stream, and folks have had trouble with that.

OTOH, it could be the server that handles your connection. There are so many moving parts on the Internet, it's sometimes hard to track a problem down.

You might try subscribing in iTunes, I believe it has the ability to resume a download if things get cut off. For more information, check out my new subcription-help page.
